Alayne got this photo of blind Cinder on Saturday afternoon, looking somewhat worried ... as if she might have missed Halloween. Fortunately, Alayne assured Cinder she hadn't missed out on any festivities, and that her black cat costume would be perfect for trick-or-treating that evening.

Cinder is beautiful and everytime I see her I think how fortunate she was to come to the ranch; have her kittens and now they are ranch hands!

Cinder has the cutest face ever! And I should know, I have the cats with the 2nd, 3rd and 4th cutest faces sleeping on my bed right now.

She reminds me of our black Sam. He spent Halloween sleeping on our bed.

Yes, this is an excellent photograph of Cinder. (The trick to photographing black cats is lots of light --and if necessary, a bit of overexposure, to bring out the texture of their fur). As a feline lover, I enjoy hearing news of your cats and wish you'd tell us about them more often.

It's nice to see Cinder after such a long time! Are her two offspring still at the RDR?

Black cats are tough to photograph so congrats for getting all her facial features and expression! My black cat usually comes out looking like a black ball with yellow eyes.
