Sometimes it's the little everyday things you don't notice until one day you finally really see it. For instance, sitting here at my desk today, I looked down and saw blind-and-deaf Baron curled up in the round bed right next to me. It dawned on me that Baron is always in that bed, and that it has become his bed in the house. I don't know when he selected it, but it's been a while ... and I just didn't really notice the moment it became his favorite spot. No wonder he chose this -- as you can see, the bed fits him perfectly, and even the color matches him pretty well!
When he's not trying to play with one of the other characters, Baron is a quiet little guy, sleeping soundly in that bed. In fact, at nighttime when we're emptying the house out for the final potty-break before putting the dogs up in the cottages, we often forget about Baron. Because he's stone-deaf, he sleeps right through all the noise of the dogs trooping out of the house, the doors opening and closing, and Alayne and me calling to the laggards. We'll get them all settled in the cottages, then look at each other and say, "Okay, who are we missing?"
Inevitably, it's Baron, and one of us heads back into the house to get him. We'll find him snug in his round bed, snoozing away, just like you see here.
Baron is enjoying his peaceful nap in a comfy bed. What a cutie! Dream on, precious puppy!

What a sweetheart, as the days get shorter and colder I wish I could just curl up and snooze the day away too!

Precious!!!
Baron's bed looks like a special dreaming spot and an excellent place to get self snuggles while you slumber.

Are there any doggies that sleep in the house with you and Alayne??

I fell in love with Baron the day he was introduced and if there was any way for me to get to Montana, he would be coming home with me! He has just blossomed since arriving at RDR; you can tell because he looks so content in all of his pictures. Please give him a kiss and warm hug from me!

Looking at a sleeping pet is just like watching a baby sleep, isn't it? It fills one's heart with such serenity and tenderness!
Sleep soundly, sweet Baron!

That posture is going to be great for keeping warm when weather gets really, really cold up your way. Snug as a bug...
