Here's our latest installment of scenes from "Rainbow Flat." Alayne got this shot the other evening of another beautiful rainbow spanning the animal cottages next to our house. We'd just had a rainstorm move through, going from west to east, and it was still shrouding the mountain range to the east of us behind those cottonwoods.
Speaking of which, we never really had fall colors out here this year with the cottonwoods -- the subzero cold we had a few weeks ago just killed all the leaves on the trees outright, turning them brown, so we missed the gorgeous yellow and orange colors we often see this time of year. I guess our rainbows will have to make up for it!

I think a calender is a awsome idea.Every year I give all my friends a calender of dogs or puppies so now they look forward to it.A RDR one would be even better, whoever thought of this idea really has got something started. If it happens let all of us know, what a great gift we would get and so would the animals by the funds it would raise. There must of been alot of happy thoughts from the animals upstair that you have cared for because they gave you a beautiful site and so clear and colorful.

And I can't help but thinking about all your special angels over the Rainbow bridge. A very special gift/reminder of them in our hearts.

The photograph of Samantha that was on the spring/summer newsletter is your cover shot or the one from last fall of you bringing two of the horses in from pasture in the light snowfall or the cat on the post looking out over the ranch or.........
A calendar is a fabulous idea!! Wish I was closer and knew how to make it happen.

That is an outstanding idea. A calender would be a good fund raiser if done right.

Incredible photo. I love trying to capture clouds, turning colors on trees, and rainbows. To date, I have never even seen such a perfect rainbow! Agree with with another comment that a photo calendar would be something many of us would love. Thanks.
