Very interesting.

Your blog is not only entertaining and funny, but also a great educational resource. Thank you, Dr. Brenda, for digging deeper in eye problem for the two beautiful sisters. And as always, thank you, Steve and Alayne, for the fantastic life you provide for the wonderful critters, including go-ats!

If the condition is identified early on are there any treatments?

They could not be more beautiful. They look so happy!

Loved the signs on Margaret the goat! Would Molly and Priscilla be options for the Obama family? Keep up the wonderful work you are doing! You are an inspiration to all of us!

A little knowledge can be a powerful tool. Thanks for my lesson today! Inasmuch as it is a dystrophy, I assume there is/was no pain involved for the girls?

That is very interesting. I find it interesting it occurs in Standard Poodles. I wonder if it occurs in the Miniature or Toy poodle, as well, or only in the Standard because I have read before that PRA occurs in the 3 different sizes. I share your enthusiasm in the power of knowledge to help gain a better understanding of the animal's medical conditions. It's also good to know that research is being done to help future puppies. These two girls are certainly beauties. I love the picture of them.
