Just a quick post to report that our vet in Helena, Dr. Brenda Culver, called yesterday evening with good news on Pepper. The growth on her side turned out to be a deep abscess, not a tumor of some sort. And she is responding well to her IV antibiotic therapy, with her temperature almost normal. However, as a result of the abscess Pepper had begun developing septicemia, which can be life-threatening. So although she's definitely making progress, it may be a couple more days before we know she's overcome that. But at the moment we have reason to be optimistic.

Glad to hear Pepper is on the mend. Thanks for the update!
