I wish you guys the best of luck in educating people on the thriving of blind horses!

What a beautiful horse Bo is, we'd love to see a few more shots of him once you get back home.
Welcome to the Ranch lucky boy!

It's a shame the wildlife park in Oregon would take in animals as you deplicated; there are many other ways to obtain quality food for the park animals.

FYI..There's a fabulous wildlife park in Pagosa Springs, Colorado; you can watch the animals being fed (daily) and the tour guides are very sweet and well adjucated. www.alldurango.com/wildlife for more info

Thank you for taking your experience “on the road" to educate those all over the world--you are saving more than you will ever know! Education of this type is POWERFUL. The horror to think that Bo was almost a meal--it literally sickens me! Now I can smile and know Bo has a forever loving home.

THANK YOU for telling all the good vet people that blind horses are worth their weight in gold and euthenasia is NOT the best or only option.

And welcome beautiful Bo! Lucky you to have a safe and happy home forever (much better than being lion food- what could those people have been THINKING?)

Good morning all Steve: What an adventure your life is !!!!! From cold Montana to sunny Florida WOW Thank you and your collegues(vets, friends , whomever ) so much for your work in saving the Appaloosas. They are beautiful. As I have said before, we know very little about ANY breed of horse,so it a true education to read your blog. Stay well and take care

Welcome, Bo. The lions will have to find a different meal.

Bo is beautiful!Thank God he made it to Rolling Dog instead of Wildlife Safari(horrors)Steve,I hope you don't catch a cold going from cold to hot so soon!Good luck letting all the vets know that blind is beautiful!

Thank you so much, Rachel and Susan, for making sure Bo made it to the Rolling Dog Ranch! Your persistence saved Bo's life & was instrumental into getting him to his safe, loving home. He will be well taken care of and best of loved. You both acted for a creature that could not act for himself, & that is marvelous. My hat is off to you! I offer you my sicere thanks.
Hugs from Texas,
ginger, Tobias & Tlingit

Oh my goodness....welcome to Orlando! How wonderful to know that you guys are here teaching others about blind horses. I know the weather is a little warmer here...but a cool front is on the way tonight. Sure hope you enjoy your time here...and keep apreading the good news...ps, Bo is gorgeous!

LION food??? I know, I know, lions are great and they aren't vegetarians, but still! A big cheer for Bo!!
Have a wonderful time in Orlando and cheers to YOU for all the good work!

A very warm:-) welcome to Bo! And a HUGE thank you to Rachel, Susan, Alayne and Steve for rescuing him and giving him a safe & loving place to live.

I'd better not write what I think of his previous owners and the owners of the boarding stable... Let me just say that my thoughts are very unchristian!:-)

To Steve & Alayne: have a nice stay in Orlando!
