Green Grass Makes For A Great Roll

Brody_rolling

Here's blind Brody enjoying a roll in the green grass yesterday.  He's a natural-born "roller" -- he'll roll over for a belly rub as soon as he hears you approaching -- but he really loves rolling in the green grass on these nice June days.  And if you just happen to walk by while he's rolling, why, it's a good time to stop for a belly rub anyway!  He knew at this point I had walked over to him, which is why he's pulled his front paws up to make more "abdominal real estate" available for rubbing.

I'd wager to say that everyone can relate to Brody's "for the love of grass" feeling. Belly rubs are nice too but it looks much cuter when a dog asks for one.
I love Jen's idea about a Rolling Dog Calendar! You take great pictures, Steve; easy to print up and Voila!

After seeing that picture of sweet Brody waiting for his belly rub, I thought wouldn't it be a great idea for an RDR 12 month calender of doggie 'rollers'! Although I'm sure it's probably much more fun to roll in green grass than it is to roll in snow, so who would be on the calender in December?! Anyway, Brody is the perfect poster boy for June. What a happy boy.

"This picture of Brody says a thousand words." :)
