Last night at bedtime we put blind Callie in her crate in Kelly's Cottage, and went out to bring in some more dogs. When Alayne and I returned a few minutes later, this is what we found. Somehow Callie had dived under all her fresh bedding, burrowing like Dachshunds often do, then came to the surface wearing part of it. She was quite pleased with herself, and remained like this even after we gave her the bedtime cookie. As we finally headed out the door, all dogs tucked in their crates and cookies liberally dispensed, Callie was still wearing her bed.
