Buzzing Along
Beth took this wonderful photo of Buzz running through the dog paddock in front of Widget's House. He is such an incredibly happy boy, despite his neurological challenges. Now that it's springtime, he is out cruising the paddock all day long -- it's a rare thing to see him lying down or even standing still. Even though he's fully grown, Buzz acts very much like a puppy, and he's always joyful.
In case you're wondering, that's our house on the left; in the center behind Buzz is our new welcome center (formerly the cat house, the cats are now in another cottage); on the right is Scout's Barn; and on the far right behind Scout's Barn is Lena's Barn. The trees are cottonwoods that line an irrigation ditch that winds its way across the ranch.

Wow! this picture says it all! Such joy on Buzz's face...makes you feel so happy. This picture would make a great advertising photo for the ranch. What a happy dog, anyone who loves animals can't help but be moved by his wonderful carefree attitude.

What a great photo - it is so beautiful - the flower-sprinkled meadow, the glorious mountains in the backyard, the joyous dog! What are the blue flowers, wild iris? When I am old and rich and retired can I build a tiny cottage in the corner of some field and be a cat caretaker?

Buzz certainly looks happy and the wildflowers are beautiful. Any chance we'll ever see any of your feline residents in this blog? Or are they just camera-shy?
