Every evening there's a wonderful scene when either Kathryn or Beth go through the gate into the dog paddock in front of Widget's House, our dog building. There they are greeted by a pack of joyful dogs who happily follow them all the way to the door. The dogs also know it's dinner time and this wonderful person is about to take them inside to feed them!
This evening I took this video of Kathryn leading her pack across the paddock. If you look at the porch on Widget's House, you'll see two black shapes heading out to meet the gang ... it's blind Allie from California on the left and wobbly Allie from Canada on the right. Then, always a little late to the party, comes blind Peabody, who finally makes his way to Kathryn and gets some petting for his efforts.
This may be the first day of spring, but does it look like spring to you in this video?

I truly love those videos you have been posting. It's so fun to see the animals in motion.

What a great video! Talk about ubundant joy...the snow dogs look so happy going out to meet Kathryn!
True, it may not look like the first day of Spring but Spring is a state of warmth, beauty and new life. RDR carries these traits all year round snow, or no snow. :-)

When my dogs heard your dogs they got all riled up and ran to the door barking and being "all tough" to check out "whatever it was out there." They didn't understand it was coming from Mama's computer?!?! Your website and the blogs are my favorite on my "Favorites" menu. PS My nearly deaf and nearly blind 15 year old takes the cues from my "much-younger" 7 year old!
